The Brick Hotel holds pride of place in Quilpie, Outback Queensland. Built in 1926 by local identity Jimmy Corones, it was the first establishment in Quilpie built from bricks.  This favourite Quilpie hotel has been carefully restored to its original glory.  Relax in the traditional ground floor bar, sample the signature Quilpie Quencher cocktail and take in spectacular western sunsets from the second floor verandah. We stayed at the Brick for the Quilpie race weekend. The rooms were absolutely gorgeous, and kept to such a high standard. Both Wayne and Brenda were lovely, and it was an awesome weekend. Couldn’t recommend their hotel or bar any more highly…a must do if you’re staying in Quilpie!!

I popped in for a meal while travelling the Outback. The Quilpie Brick Hotel has been renovated in a delightful way … full of country charm while retaining its original purpose, character and style. The owners invited me to the upstairs veranda to enjoy the stunning sunset and my meal was delicious. The service was excellent while the owners exuded warmth and friendliness.

We stayed 2 nights at the Brick Hotel for work and I was thoroughly impressed with the welcome at reception to the cleanliness of our rooms.The verandah was awesome to sit back have dinner and a few quiet ones while watching the Sunset and road trains cruise by.
